As of April 14th, 2003, the Federal Government requires healthcare providers to ensure that your personal health information is protected. The
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requires that we obtain patient consent prior to utilizing healthcare information, that physical access to patient information and medical records is controlled, and that written policies and procedures are enacted for the protection of this information.
Your trust is very important to us. For this reason, we have taken the necessary steps to ensure that your personal health information is kept confidential.
