HERNAN
LUNA, CPO is President and Clinical Director of Allied Orthopedics,
Inc. He is certified by the American Board for Certification in
Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC) and is licensed by the State of Florida.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics
from Florida International University in 1995. His undergraduate
coursework in Engineering also gives him a better understanding of
technological innovations in the O & P field. He worked for a
multi-office facility in South Florida specializing in Neuromuscular
disorders in pediatrics prior to opening his private practice. Hernan is a
member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists, the
American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics and the
Florida Association of Orthotists and Prosthetists. He has presented to
physical and occupational therapy groups and local allied health
professionals, and has participated as a member of the Post-polio Clinic
at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Because he is bilingual, Hernan is able to
serve South Florida's Hispanic population as well as that of Latin
America.
